SALE CREEK, Tenn. (WDEF) – Sunday afternoon at 2:51 p.m., Sale Creek Volunteer Fire Department and Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and walked down the trail to find the injured hiker. A Gentleman called 911 reporting that his wife had fallen at least 50 feet below on the Leggett Trail part of the Cumberland Trail.
