According to the police report, a call to the Emergency System 9-1-1 alerted the police about a crash on the site. The woman was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead. A woman died at about 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday after being run over by a vehicle on Esteban B. Cruz Street in Guayama. The woman, identified as Illuminated Carrión Rivera, 76, was taken to a hospital institution, where she was declared dead. The driver who impacted her, did not stop at the scene. Later, the young man arrived at the command, claiming to have been involved in the fatal accident.
