Woman dies and man arrested following disturbance at Edinburgh property
Police said a 46-year-old man was arrested as forensic teams continued inquiries and reassured residents there is no wider public risk.
On Monday, 44-year-old Vikki Soloman died following a disturbance at a property in Craigievar Square, Edinburgh, after emergency services were called at approximately 8:45 PM.
Police Scotland confirmed that a 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident, with enquiries ongoing into the circumstances surrounding Soloman's death.
Authorities also cordoned off the nearby Mid Yoken pub, located over a mile away, where officers are standing guard at the perimeter of the premises.
Detective Inspector Mark McGraw stated, "There is no risk to the wider public," and confirmed a police presence will remain in the area to provide reassurance.
Anyone with information should speak to patrolling officers or contact Police Scotland on 101, while Soloman's family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
