Woman burns Kansas warehouse linked to potential ICE sale
Fire was quickly extinguished after an unidentified woman tried to ignite a warehouse linked to a halted ICE detention facility sale, police said.

- KMBC 9 video crew and reporter Andy Alcock show an unidentified woman spraying liquid on window areas at 14900/14901, igniting flames with flames briefly flaring up.
- Authorities encouraged anyone with information to call 816-474-TIPS; police say the suspect left before investigators arrived and remained at large as of 8:50 p.m.
- Local protests and elected officials have kept the dispute over the warehouse active, with Jackson County Legislative Chairman Manny Abarca saying officials suggested it could be used as an ICE detention center.
