Deputies Say Woman Was Intoxicated and Drove Donuts on Courthouse Lawn
Deputies said Lorraine Wilkerson, 67, was booked on intoxicated driving charges after the vehicle stunt on the courthouse lawn.
- On Monday, deputies in Jennings County, Ind., arrested 68-year-old Lorraine Wilkerson after she allegedly drove her vehicle in "donuts on the courthouse lawn."
- The Jennings County Sheriff posted video of the incident to Facebook, using the event as a "Friendly Reminder" to avoid driving while intoxicated.
- Wilkerson was booked into jail on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with an ACE of.08 or more, a C-misdemeanor.
- A spokesperson for the Jennings County Sheriff Dept urged the public to "always make arrangements for a safe ride home" if they have been drinking.
