Tribute Paid to 'Gorgeous' Mum Killed in Merseyside Collision
Merseyside Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage after a red Nissan Juke hit a brick wall and killed Kelly Marie Lundie, 38.
Kelly Marie Lundie, 38, died on Friday when her red Nissan Juke crashed into a brick wall at the junction of Allerton Road and High Street in Liverpool. Emergency services declared her dead at the scene at approximately 11:30 PM.
A white Vauxhall Astra was also involved in the incident, which occurred at 23:30 BST. Merseyside Police's serious collision investigation unit examined the scene, remaining cordoned off through Saturday morning.
Family members described Kelly as a "devoted and beloved mother" to her son, Caleb, and a "lovely, kind-hearted" woman. Her family noted that her loss left "an enormous space in the lives of everyone who loved her."
Sgt Phil Everett stated "our thoughts are with the family members of the woman who sadly died," as Merseyside Police appealed for witnesses, CCTV, or dashcam footage using reference 26000727021.
Flowers were placed at the roadside on Saturday as the community mourned. Friends shared memories of the "gorgeous" woman on social media, reflecting on how deeply Kelly will be missed.
