Six arrested after woman found dead in north London
Six people were arrested and released on bail as detectives investigate the death of a 23-year-old woman.
On July 6, a 23-year-old woman was found dead at Bollinder Place in Islington, prompting the Met Police to launch a murder investigation into the incident.
Six individuals—four women aged 20, 21, 23, and 26, and two men aged 21 and 24—were arrested on suspicion of murder and subsequently released on bail.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller stated the investigation is "progressing at pace" while officers conduct forensic examinations and witness interviews to establish the timeline.
Chief Superintendent Jason Stewart assured the community there is "no wider risk to the public," characterizing the death as an isolated incident with local officers maintaining visible presence in Islington.
