Woman, 20s, killed in early morning crash in Dublin
Gardaí say the road remains closed while forensic investigators examine the scene and appeal for dash-cam footage after the woman’s death.
- A woman in her 20s died in a single-vehicle collision in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15, early Wednesday morning. Gardaí responded to the crash between the Snugborough Road and Cappagh Road roundabouts shortly before 12.30am.
- The collision occurred four hours after a fatal hit-and-run in Kells, Co Meath, involving a van that killed a teenage cyclist at approximately 8.05pm on Tuesday. Gardaí said the van failed to remain at the scene.
- Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are examining both scenes with roads closed and local diversions in place. The cyclist's body was conveyed to Our Lady's Hospital Navan, where a post-mortem will take place.
