The number of confrontations between wolves and humans in the forest areas bordering the Leusderheide rose from two to ten in 2025 compared to the previous year. "Of those ten cases, nine involved a wolf coming too close to people. Most of the times, it involved wolf GW3237m," says a spokesperson for the Province of Utrecht.
