Wolf reintroduction faces new challenges
Although Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) had obtained approval from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) to obtain 15 new wolves from British Columbia in February 2024, in December 2024, they told them they could only get wolves from the Northern Rocky Mountain areas of the United States.
