A week after a speech denouncing extremism and the "resurgence of brown and nauseous ideologies" during the commemoration of the Battle of August 6, 1870 in Morsbronn-les-Bains, Woerth's French Remembrance Committee was "set on a standstill" by the Bas-Rhin leadership. Aimed at by a complaint by MP RN Théo Bernhardt, its president Benoît Sigrist, indicated that he had withdrawn his duties.

After a speech denouncing the ideas of extreme right, Woerth's French Remembrance Committee was "set on the watch" by the regional management. Benoît Sigrist, who delivered the speech, is targeted by a complaint from MP RN Théo Bernhardt to which the association went so far as to apologize.
