A week after a speech denouncing extremism and the "resurgence of brown and nauseous ideologies" during the commemoration of the Battle of August 6, 1870 in Morsbronn-les-Bains, Woerth's French Remembrance Committee was "set on a standstill" by the Bas-Rhin leadership. Aimed at by a complaint by MP RN Théo Bernhardt, its president Benoît Sigrist, indicated that he had withdrawn his duties.
