Broadcaster WNL was present at the VVD congress in Nieuwegein on Saturday to recruit members and not as press. The broadcaster informed ANP of this when asked. In an interview that journalist Roel Maalderink shared on BlueSky, WNL employees at the congress can be seen wearing a badge with 'Press' on it and handing out chocolate and flyers.
