Marshall notebook: Herd renews grid series with WKU for 2031-32
Marshall football has renewed its rivalry with Western Kentucky with a home-and-home series for the 2031 and 2032 seasons, announced on Monday. The Thundering Herd will travel to WKU on Sept. 13, 2031, and will host the Hilltoppers on Sept. 18, 2032. The last game was played in November of 2021, a 53-21 loss for the Herd for a Conference USA division title. Marshall is 8-5 in the series.

WKU Football and Marshall have scheduled a home-and-home series in the 2031 and 2032 seasons. The first game of the series is set to kick off in Bowling Green at Houchens-Smith Stadium for the 2031 season. The Hilltoppers will travel to Huntington, West Virginia, at Joan C.
