Since January, the Breton nurses of Asalée, a specialized network in therapeutic education, are no longer paid due to lack of funding. Some have mobilized in Rennes on Thursday 26 March to claim their salaries.
Asalée, an association between general practitioners and public health nurses created in 2004, is at a standstill. Magali Courbes, one of the nurses, explains to "20 Minutes" the relevance of the network
In total, 2000 Asalée nurses have not been paid anywhere in France since February. They are 16 in Haute-Loire. The association that employs them was declared to have ceased payment in early March after the sickness insurance cut off its subsidies. The Paris Economic Court is scheduled to rule on Friday 27 March.
This Thursday at 10:30 a.m., in front of the Saint-Lô town hall, the nurses of the Asalée group and patients are organizing a demonstration. They have not been paid since January.
Since February, everywhere in France, almost 2,000 nurses have been working without pay as a result of a dispute between the Asalée association that employs them and the Health Insurance.
