The unions described the proposal of the national government as “unpresentable”, which did not move from the 3% increase ordered by the Justice. The strike will last 23 days and the mobilization will be on October 15.

The Government offered an increase of 3 per cent in September and another 3 per cent in October, a proposal that was rejected by the educational unions. They demand a wage recomposition of 32.5 per cent and compliance with the University Financing Act.

The Executive informed that it will apply an increase of 3%, despite the fact that teachers and non-teachers have rejected the proposal.
