There were about a dozen protesters outside Fort Meade City Hall on Thursday ready to show they are not backing down, and they want a proposed data center project to be canceled.

Community members gathered Thursday night at an intersection next to Fort Meade City Hall to protest a proposed 1.2-gigawatt data center.They held signs and urged city leaders to carefully consider the projects impact.
