Winter weather advisory affecting Upper Peninsula until Wednesday morning – potentially 7 inches of snow
At 2:15 a.m. EST on Tuesday, the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory valid from 7 a.m. EST until Wednesday 7 a.m. EST for Alger, Luce and Schoolcraft counties.The weather service adds, “Moderate lake effect snowfall rates and areas of blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 7 inches, mainly north of M-28 and east of Munising. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.”
