Winona man's sentencing delayed in George's Lounge shooting case
WINONA, Minn. — The sentencing hearing of Winona resident Damien Winn has been pushed back to 2026. Winn pled guilty in September to a charge of attempted second-degree intentional homicide which replaced the first-degree attempt charge he originally faced. His sentencing was scheduled for Dec. 10 originally, but has since been moved back to Feb. 11. Winn was arrested in March 2024 for shooting a 33-year-old fellow Winona man at George's Lounge.…
