Approximately 86 people working at a Winona lighting manufacturing facility are out of a job later this year when the company closes the plant. The State of Minnesota received formal notice on Wednesday from Acuity Brands Lighting that they’re permanently closing their facility in Winona on or around November 30th. There are reports that Acuity is moving the production work done in Winona to facilities it owns in Indiana.
