The Federal Network Agency of Germany (BNetzA) has reported high levels of participation in the country’s second land wind power tender of 2025, after awarding contracts to projects totalling 3,447 MW. The tender had an excess demand of 44%, and BNetzA received 568 bids totalling 4,972 MW. The Bundesnetzagentur has published the results of its latest onshore wind and innovation auction, which closed for bids on 1 May 2025. The tender offered a total volume of 3,443MW, attracting 568 bids with a combined capacity of 4,972MW. Of these, 372 bids totalling 3,447MW were awarded contracts. Fifteen bids were disqualified from the process.
