Microsoft is preparing for October to enable memory integrity on more eligible Windows 11 computers, a protection designed to block malicious code in the system core, but it can also reduce the performance of some games, especially on computers with older processors.
Starting next month, Windows 11 will automatically enable memory integrity on more compatible PCs. Important kernel protection, however, can be a problem with older drivers.
