WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington woman is in custody following an investigation into a reported firearm discharge on Chestnut Street, according to the Wilmington Police Department. Officers responded around 9:53 p.m. Wednesday to the 700 block of Chestnut Street after receiving reports of a resident discharging a firearm.
