William Hampton makes sure Alabama’s Black history isn’t forgotten

Hampton went to the Huntsville-Madison County Library archives to research his history and was shocked to see that it was incomplete. Beyond the absence of his own family’s history, he didn’t see anyone who looked like him in the archives, he just saw white changemakers.
