Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek announced that the prosecutor's office will investigate allegations that Rafał Trzaskowski was informed of irregularities at the Southern Hospital as early as 2025. "The prosecutor's office will request all documents. Witnesses will be questioned," Żurek said.
I appeal to Rafał Trzaskowski, give him a break. At least save some shred of honor and simply resign," wrote Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik, commenting on the reports about the Southern Hospital in Warsaw.
The Zero.pl website revealed that Rafał Trzaskowski was informed as early as July 2025 of irregularities related to Dawid Kacprzyk's actions at the Southern Hospital. However, Trzaskowski ignored these reports. Consequently, PiS MP Paweł Jabłoński filed a report with the prosecutor's office alleging a possible crime by the mayor of Warsaw, involving "failure to fulfill duties to the detriment of the public interest."
Something happened that shouldn't have happened, but above all, it must never happen again," Rafał Trzaskowski said at a press conference on Friday. The mayor of Warsaw announced that the case would be thoroughly investigated and referred to the prosecutor's office.
