New Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced during a visit to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz that he would propose expanding the Visegrad Group (V4) to include Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Romania at the June 23 summit. He also said that Hungary was close to reaching an agreement with Kiev on the rights of the Hungarian minority in Ukraine.
