Titans QB Mitchell Trubisky Leaves Practice Early to Get His Right Biceps Checked
Coach Robert Saleh said Trubisky was likely fine after the veteran left practice for an arm check following a deep pass.
On Monday, Tennessee Titans quarterback Mitchell Trubisky left practice with a trainer to have his right arm checked after appearing to struggle with a deep pass.
A 10th-year veteran signed this offseason to back up Cam Ward, Trubisky completed 2 of 3 passes for 23 yards in Tennessee's preseason win at San Francisco, demonstrating familiarity with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll's system.
Titans coach Robert Saleh expressed optimism after practice, stating, "I think we're good, but again, I'm the eternal optimist," ahead of the team's joint practice with Seattle on Friday.
During the same Monday session, rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate required evaluation after appearing to hit his head catching a deep pass, while Saleh removed safety Tony Adams from practice for throwing a punch.
The Titans host Seattle for a joint practice Friday ahead of their exhibition on Sunday night, with Trubisky's status uncertain as the team evaluates his condition.
