Wildfire in Torrance County prompts evacuations, 0% contained near I-40

MORIARTY, N.M. – A wildfire named the Cummings Fire is threatening multiple structures and visible from Interstate 40 in Torrance County. The New Mexico Forestry Division reported the fire was discovered just before 4:20 p.m. on Monday, east of Moriarty.
