Wildfire between Salmon Arm and Sicamous considered held at .12 hectares

UPDATE: 8:50 p.m. A wildfire that ignited off the Trans-Canada Highway between Sicamous and Salmon Arm is now considered held. According to BC Wildfire, the blaze, “is projected, based on fuel and weather conditions and resource availability, to remain within the current perimeter, control line or boundary.” The wildfire grew to an estimated .12 hectares in size.
