SPRINGFIELD — A Wilbraham resident was sentenced Tuesday by a federal judge to 32 months in prison for threatening police and children online while in the throes of mental illness. Funwayo “Jonathan” Mbilini Nyawo, 36, a South African native, pleaded guilty to more than a dozen counts of threatening public officials and their families over social media platforms.
