Wife, daughter of Ecuadorian gang leader Fito arrested in Colombia
The women were detained on an INTERPOL warrant and are accused of using shell companies to launder Los Choneros money, officials said.

Mother and daughter charged with money laundering of more than $25 million
Alias Fito is the leader of Los Choneros, one of Ecuador’s oldest and most powerful drug trafficking organizations. In 2025, Quito extradited him to the United States a month after his recapture after escaping from a Seguri maximum prison.
