Wien Energie has commissioned its most powerful wind farm to date, the Loidesthal II wind farm. Ten wind turbines near the Lower Austrian municipality of Zistersdorf are now producing enough green electricity to power more than 44,000 average households. The wind farm has a capacity of 62 megawatts, the utility announced on Sunday.
