Whoopi Goldberg Signs up for New Comedy Movie Produced by Michelle Obama
The film pairs four veteran stars in a story about grief, marriage and second chances, marking the first Higher Ground-Macro feature collaboration for Netflix.

- Ali Kinney wrote the original script with additional writing from Tracy Oliver, whose credits include "Ginny & Georgia" and "Girls Trip." Both writers bring established experience to the feature comedy.
- This project continues Netflix and Higher Ground's partnership, which began in 2018. The company has produced various works featuring Black talent, including "Rustin" and "American Symphony.
