The St. Lawrence Shark Observatory (SOR) has issued an advisory to divers and other users of the marine environment regarding the increased presence of white sharks in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Without being alarmist, the observatory's founder, Jeffrey Gallant, wishes to deliver "a precautionary message based on scientific observation, rather than exaggeration, fear or sensationalism."
