Whirlpool to open new factory in Perrysburg
The project will create 100 to 150 jobs and convert a former solar-panel building into a hub for washers and dryers parts.
- On Friday, Whirlpool Corporation announced plans to invest more than $60 million in a new manufacturing facility in Perrysburg, Ohio, expected to create 150 jobs over the next two years.
- Retrofitting a vacant former solar panel manufacturing building, Whirlpool will install advanced automation to produce appliance components and subassemblies for washers and dryers supporting nearby Ohio operations.
