Julia Beers went 2-for-3 with two RBIs to lead third-seeded Whippany Park to a 15-1 victory over 14th-seeded Bard in the first round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 1 tournament in Whippany.Whippany Park (17-7) scored four runs in each of the first, second and fourth innings to build a commanding lead. Anna Hendricks contributed two hits, including a triple, and drove in one run while stealing two bases for the winners.
