Trail Blazers Land Undrafted Caleb Love on Two-Way Contract
BOONE COUNTY, MISSOURI, JUN 27 – Several undrafted players signed two-way or Exhibit 10 contracts to join NBA rosters or G-League affiliates and will compete in Summer League to earn permanent spots.
- After missing out on a second-round selection in the 2025 NBA Draft, the Portland Trail Blazers announced they will bring undrafted Arizona guard Caleb Love on board under a two-way deal.
- The Blazers traded back from a first-round pick on Wednesday and assessed league-wide inactivity before deciding to add Love, who worked out for them on May 27.
- Love, a 6-foot-4 guard with a 6-9 wingspan, is known for attacking play, defense, and the ability to finish above the rim, but has weaknesses in shot selection and consistency.
- Over the course of five years, Love accumulated 2,762 points, averaged 17.6 points last season with a 39.8% shooting percentage, and was highly rated as a recruit coming out of St. Louis, Missouri.
- The Blazers finished the season with three players on two-way contracts, so adding Love means one player likely will not be retained as the team evaluates roster decisions ahead.
