Last week, a diplomatic crisis erupted between Beirut and Tehran, following Iran ' s announcement, by the Iranian spokesman for Foreign Affairs, that their ambassador in Lebanon, Mohamed Reza Shebani, was kept, despite a formal Lebanese decision not to accept his adoption, as an undesirable person, and that he should leave the country within a specified period, due to violations of diplomatic norms by the Iranian Embassy.
