When Does ‘The Audacity’ Season 2 Premiere? Details After Early Renewal
AMC gave the Silicon Valley satire an early eight-episode renewal before its premiere, signaling confidence in creator Jonathan Glatzer's original series.
On March 9, AMC renewed The Audacity for Season 2, demonstrating early confidence in the Silicon Valley satire weeks before its April 12 series premiere.
Set inside the bubble of Silicon Valley, the darkly comedic drama confronts warped dreams and ethical lapses of tech's self-styled inventors, following an audacious data-mining CEO seeking profit and power.
Emmy and Peabody Award-winning creator Jonathan Glatzer helms the project, which stars Billy Magnussen, Sarah Goldberg, Zach Galifianakis, and Lucy Punch in an ensemble cast.
AMC Networks Chief Content Officer Dan McDermott praised the series as "smart, witty, and nuanced," while Glatzer stated "'playing it safe' is vastly overrated" regarding the network's conviction.
The Season 1 finale airs Sunday, May 31, on AMC and AMC+, while Season 2 will feature eight episodes with a premiere date to be announced later.
