Wheel tax approved by Onalaska city council, despite objections from some residents

WIZMnews.com Drivers in Onalaska will be charged a $25 a year fee per vehicle, as a way of reducing a city deficit. The wheel tax proposal passed Tuesday night on a 4-to-2 city council vote.
