Residents of the UNESCO-listed village of Holašovice were mobbed over the weekend by fans of large American RAM pickup trucks. About twenty of them arrived and parked right in the historic village square. They reportedly did not respond to calls to move their cars, and there were even arguments.
Horns instead of country comfort. Dozens of American RAM pickup trucks drove into a village square in Holašovice in the Budějovice region, a UNESCO heritage site, on Saturday without warning. Locals are talking about breaking the rules and insults, while the RAM Club is accusing the municipality of rude behavior. The dispute is also being resolved by the police.
