Westbound Interstate 70 was closed Sunday morning for a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. As of 9:15 a.m., westbound I-70 was closed between exit 216 for Loveland Pass and exit 205 near Silverthorne, according to state transportation officials. Interstate 70 westbound between Exit 216 at Loveland Pass and Exit 205 at Silverthorne was closed Sunday morning, Oct. 12, due to a vehicle fire on the west side of the tunnels.
