Ameren Proposes West Alton Energy Plant, Customers Could Pay some Costs Upfront

Ameren says the plant would help meet rising demand from data centers and could save customers money by using Construction Work in Progress financing.

Ameren Missouri has proposed a new natural-gas powered energy plant in West Alton. If approved, customers could pay for some project costs upfront while the facility is being built.
