For the Edwards Family Learning Center, the number four is no longer just part of their lessons. The early childhood education center earned a Tier 4 designation from the state's childcare quality rating system, Colorado Shines, according to a statement released by the center on June 5. Through the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, Colorado Shines is a statewide quality assessment and improvement system for childcare and learning programs.
