WELSH SEALS LOAN DEAL

STEPHEN WELSH has sealed a season-long loan deal to Motherwell. With Brendan Rodgers pushing the claims of Dane Murray this season, the former Scotland Under-21 international centre-back has been allowed to move on a temporary transfer. Welsh spent the second half of last season on loan at Belgian outfit KV Mechelen and he is looking forward to getting some game-time at the Fir Park club. Source
