Lester Thayn, a lifelong Wellington resident, recently returned from an unforgettable trip with the Utah Honor Flight (UHF). Thayn served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969 and just a few weeks ago, he took part in UHF’s 50th mission, traveling to Washington, D.C. to see the nation’s war memorials firsthand.
