After a few days of cooling, strong heats are expected from the weekend of 4 and 5 July in the south of France and are expected to spread over a large part of the country the week of 6 July, according to Sébastien Léas, forecast engineer at Météo-France.
VIDEO - As an exceptional heat wave is just ending, France will experience "arguably a new canicule episode starting this weekend", said on Tuesday 30 June the forecaster of Météo-France Patrick Galois, without however being able to estimate its duration or intensity at this stage.
If the meteorological body predicts "very high" temperatures, "over 35 degrees", it states that "not all regions will necessarily be affected".
