On Wednesday evening, 29 aircraft were allowed to start at Frankfurt Airport after 23:00. The reason for this was extensive de-icing due to heavy snowfall. The last take-off took place shortly before midnight – and thus again caused longer flight noise in the Rhine-Main area than actually allowed.
