On Sunday at 6:55 p.m. a special weather statement was issued by the National Weather Service until 10 p.m. for Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties."Localized ocean effect snow showers will continue to bring slick conditions and locally reduced visibility through 10pm this evening. Motorists are advised to use caution if traveling this evening," according to the weather service.
