After two months since they have been in power together in Germany, the Christian Democrats (CDU/CSU) have seen an increase in public support, while the Social Democrats (SPD) are in decline.
The SPD remains low in the poll. The current trend in Germany sees the social democrats at the lowest level since 2020. The Union parties, on the other hand, have slightly increased in the favour of voters.
Since the beginning of the new legislature, the Social Democrats have been experiencing a drastic crash in their polls. How unpopular is the SPD?
The Social Democrats remain in the low level of the poll even four months after the Bundestag election. According to the ARD "Germany trend", 13 percent of the eligible voters would vote for the SPD.
The new federal government is in office for two months. Points can only fall back on the Union, the Social Democrats. Even as a peace party, the SPD cannot stand up for itself.
