The future of the Arc International glass factory, an industrial flagship of Pas-de-Calais, is being played this Tuesday, March 10, 2026 before the Tribunal de commerce in Lille. The judges must examine the only project to take over the site of Arques, which employs 3,500 employees.
The Lille commercial court will discover today the improved offer, and above all the only offer, of takeover of the Arc International glassmaker, specialized in the arts of the table. Led by the great-grandson of the founder of the industrialist, the latter rests above all on the arrest of one of the six ovens and a progressive positioning towards the top of the range. On Tuesday 10 March, the Lille Commercial Court examines the only project to take over the Arc glass factory and its 3,500 employees. It is carried by the grandson of the founder, Timothy Durand, financially supported by Matthieu Leclercq, former CEO of Decathlon. It foresees 704 job deletions.
